THE PROBLEM

YOUR BOOTS CREATED THE PROBLEM. YOUR SLIDES SHOULDN’T IGNORE IT.

01

SHEAR

During play, repeated movement inside a tightly fitted boot can create shear within the skin. When the boot comes off, that tissue can still feel tender, irritated and sensitive.

02

HEAT

After sustained activity, the foot can feel intensely hot and uncomfortable. That heat doesn’t disappear at the final whistle — it’s often the first thing you feel when the boot comes off.

03

SWEAT

Moisture changes the environment between the foot, sock and boot and can affect friction during play. Afterward, the foot is left hot, damp and uncomfortable.

04

THE AFTERMATH

Repeated loading and shear can create a burning, tender area that may develop into a friction blister. Once the boots are off, that hotspot is still sore — and a standard foam slide does little more than cushion it.

THEN THE WHISTLE BLOWS. THE BOOTS COME OFF. BUT YOUR FEET ARE STILL FEELING THE GAME.

THE SOLUTION

BOOTS OFF. CHILLSIDES ON.

BOOTS OFF. CHILLSIDES ON.

Instead of treating the recovery slide as an afterthought, Chillsides is designed around what a footballer’s foot has just been through — combining targeted cooling, shear-aware cushioning, moisture management and room to recover after 90 minutes inside a tightly fitted boot.

01

SHEAR-ABSORBING CUSHIONING

A compliant cushioning layer designed to deform with foot movement, reducing how much movement is transmitted back into skin that has already been stressed inside the boot.

TARGETED COOLING

A removable ColdPod sits beneath selected areas of the foot, delivering cooling where hot, tender post-match feet meet the slide.

03

MOISTURE-MANAGING LINER

A breathable foot-contact layer designed to manage the damp post-match environment rather than trapping moisture against the foot.

04

POST-MATCH COMFORT

Soft cushioning, a wider forefoot and an adjustable upper give sore feet room to decompress after 90 minutes inside tightly fitted boots.

COLDPOD COOLING

COOLING. BUILT INTO THE SLIDE.

Chillsides is developing a removable ColdPod cooling insert positioned beneath the footbed. The current development direction focuses on broad forefoot coverage and targeted heel coverage. Final geometry is still being tested and will be informed by athlete feedback and product testing.

FROM FREEZER TO FEET.

01 FREEZE THE COLDPOD

Keep the removable ColdPod cooling insert in the freezer.

02 INSERT

Place the frozen ColdPod into the Chillsides cooling system.

03 WEAR

Put Chillsides on after football for targeted cooling and post-match comfort.

04 REMOVE + REFREEZE

Remove the ColdPod from the slide and return it to the freezer for next time.

BUILT AROUND THE FOOT

THE BOOT IS BUILT AROUND PERFORMANCE. CHILLSIDES IS BUILT AROUND THE FOOT THE BOOT LEAVES BEHIND.

01 — WIDE FOREFOOT

More room for natural toe splay after the foot has been constrained inside a football boot.

02 — HEEL CRADLE

A soft, cushioned heel region designed around a common high-load area.

03 — GENTLE ARCH

A smooth midfoot transition rather than aggressive orthopedic arch support.

04 — MOISTURE-MANAGING LINER

A soft, breathable foot-contact layer designed to manage the damp post-match environment.

05 — SHEAR-AWARE CUSHIONING

A compliant cushioning layer sits between the foot and the ColdPod, creating a softer interface above the cooling component.

06 — ADJUSTABLE UPPER

Designed to accommodate different foot volumes and temporary post-exercise swelling.
